Headstone, now prone, open book with tassel down the centre.
The dear memory Of Our beloved parent Alfred WHARTON W[h]o died May 3rd 1931 Aged 75 years [Right side - Also ] E. Emily WHA[R]TON Who died August 6th 1950 Aged 87 years Peace joy & rest and forever in the Presence of the Lord. In the centre of the burial plot is a flat plain tablet. The lettering was originally leaded, but all of the letters have been mown off. There is a stone flower vase between the open book and the plain tablet. There are sunken kerbs around the plot.
