There is also a record of a baptism : "1939 7 Nov CAMPION Peter Charles ; Charles Philip & Bertha Marguerita Clara; Lagos, Nigeria; Colonial Medical Service". Perhaps the date on the baptism entry is a mistake and the child was baptised on the 23rd December rather than the 7th November? ]
