Irregular grey granite boulder with flat polished front face bearing the inscription.
22 Sept. 1875 - 23 Apr. 1956 And his wife Minnie (nee HOPKINS ) 24 Apr. 1884 - 3 Jun. 1962 [In dull weather, the inscription is hard to read, but can be seen by looking from below, when the reflection of the sky on the polished stone reveals the inscribed lettering.
