In memoriam William Innocents SCOTT who died March 11th 1869 in his 73rd year This monument was Erected by his son Rev. George James SCOTT 24 years vicar of this parish as an affectionate token of his filial love
[Rectangular tablet, curved top and apron. Flanked by two pillars decorated with rosettes, above which a supporting ledge holding two crossed acanthus leaves. In centre an inscription in incised Roman caps. Poor condition. Dimensions: h. 102 cm x w. 58 cm. George Scott was vicar of North Leigh from 1886-1911.
