of ye Rev.nd James MUSGRAVE L.L.D. who died ye 1st July 1778. AEtat Suae 66.
Son of ye Rev.nd Jas. MUSGRAVE A.M. of Little Grandesdon in ye County of Cambridge
and Catherine Daughter of James PERROT Esqr. of this Place
Grandson to Sir Richard MUSGRAVE of Hayton Castle in ye County of Cumberland
the third Baronet of his Family
he was Patron and many years Rector of Chinnor in ye County of Oxford
and as a conscientious, pious and learned Divine,
He filled that & every other situation of Life with Ability and Integrity.
Likewise the remains of his Wife
Jane Daughter and co heiress of Wm. HUGGINS Esqr. of Headley Park in the
County of Southampton who died the 25th June 1788 AEtat Suae 56.
benevolent, charitable, respected.
They were dear to each other and to all around them.
[On apron] - Likewise the Remains of Clarissa and Harriot Daughter's of James MUSGRAVE Esqr. of
Barnsley Park in ye County of Gloucester by Clarissa his wife daughter of Thos. BLACKALL Esqr.
Clarilsa was born 1st of Novr. 1783 died 23rd Jany. 1784 and Harriot was born ye 29th of Augst. 1793
and died 21st of Novr. 1800.
Circles tho small are yet compleat.

[Rectangular white marble tablet with inscription in black Roman caps. and 1/c., surmounted by an obelisk shape of grey marble. Either side of the tablet a reeded shaped tapering sidepiece. Above tablet rests a draped closed urn on a stand all of white marble. The whole supported on a pair of consoles. A curved apron bears a second inscription and laurel wreath with floral centre. ]
