Wall Memorial on W. wall of Perrott Aisle to Henry and Martha Perrot d 1740 & 1741

To the memory of
Henry PERROT
late of Barnsley in the County of Glocr Esq;
who departed this Life July 6th 1740 aged 51
Also
Martha wife of the said Henry PERROT,
and Daughter of Brereton BOURCHIER of Barnsley
in the County of Clocr. Esqr.
who departed this Life Oct.14th 1741 aged 39.
And also of Martha and Cassandra Daughters
of the said Henry and Martha PERROT
Martha died March 3rd 1773 aged 49
Cassandra died June 20th 1778
aged 57.
This Monument was Erected by the
Executers of the sd Cassandra PERROT
by her Order and Directions.

[Grey marble casket with gold border, supported by two lions feet and draped with a fringed cloth. Scrolled open pediment with open urn with flame, entwined with serpent and flanked by two winged cherubs. Surmounted by a grey marble obelisk, near top of which is a coat of arms with swag of drapery on one side. Below is a nowy-headed inscription tablet flanked by two pilasters, curved lower edge. Shelf below of acanthus leaves with eye in middle. Roman caps and 1/c, long 's' in places. Sculptor's name at bottom of right pilaster - "Richetts, Glor. Sculpr." (John Ricketts, the younger, Gloucester). Heraldry:- Per pale Sinister - a field Argent, Martlet Sable on a field Gules, 3 pears Or. Dexter - On a field Sable, a Chevron Or.
