Cross of three-tier stepped base with chamfered upper surfaces. It is set within a second large kerbed enclosure, approximately 3 by 6 metres, contiguous with that for D16. The cross is approximately 2 metres tall. Kerbing splayed with mitred returns at corners abuts that for D16. The first inscription is on the east side of the third tier of the cross base. On the top surface of the third tier east side is the inscription:
She is not dead but sleepeth
On the east side of the third tier, the inscription continues:
In loving memory of Rita Georgina, youngest child of James MASON Esq., of Eynsham Hall Born 20th March 1872 : Died 30th December 1881
On the east facing side of the 2nd tier of the cross base:
James MASON, Born June 24. 1824, Died April 2. 1903. "Sleep on now and take your rest."
On the east facing side of the 1st tier of the cross base:
Isabel, wife of the above Born March 7. 1833 Died Nov. 22 1915.
On the south facing side of the 2nd tier of the cross base:
James Francis MASON, Born August 28. 1861. Died April 2. 1929.
On the north facing side of the 2nd tier of the cross base:
The Lady Evelyn Margaret MASON Wife of James Francis MASON, of Eynsham Hall Born 8. May 1870, Married 9. Feb. 1895, died 3. April 1944.
