Cross on triple plinth, now fallen. Inscribed IHS in the centre of the cross. On the north side of the middle level there is the inscription "BILES
Witney", evidently the monumental mason. Middle level, east side:

On the bottom level, east side:

In loving memory of
William B. CHURCH
second and beloved son of
William & Elizabeth CHURCH
who died May 21^st 1896
aged 27 years

who died April 28^th 1897
aged 29 years.
