Obelisk on two-tier plinth. Coped body stone. There is no inscription on the obelisk, but there is an IHS inscription in gothic lettering within a roundel low down on the east face. This is one of two identical obelisks standing side by side - see also E7. The inscription on the south face of the coped body stone reads as follows:
In remembrance of Henry McKINLAY. Gardener at Eynsham Hall who died April 3rd 1875 aged 39 years He was much respected by his employer James Mason who erected this stone.
