Headstone half round top, half height, with westward facing almost entirely eroded inscription. Eroded cherub(?) centre top. Circular design of deeply carved laurel wreath around the inscription. No inscription remains on the upper part, but fragments of the end of the inscription remain below soil level.

Aged 84

[The Burial Register for 1799 does not give the ages of those buried. So far as these can be determined from other records, none of them would seem to relate to persons who died aged 84 in 1799. One possibility is that this is the memorial to Thomas Masters, the husband of Ann (nee Calcutt), who may be a relation of the adjacent stone. However, he was more like 34 than 84 in 1799.]
