Headstone with oval top. Cherub at centre top, surrounded either side by swirls. A six line verse appears across the lower part of the stone. On the reverse of the stone is a groove with two holes from which an iron staple has been lost. There is a faint crack across the stone.
In memory of Joseph, son of Richard & Esther MANSELL who died on March 15 1825 aged 34 years. Keep death and judgement always [----] none are fit to live [---] up your lodging [---] in the dust [---] dreadful to behold the setting sun and night approaching ere your work is done.
