Mantel top chest tomb. Grade II listed - "SP3813 21/167- Chest tomb approx. 8m S of S porch of Church of St. Mary. Early C19. Limestone. Moulded plinth and cornice; corner balusters. Commemorates Sarah Hutt, d.1819, and others". The monument is constructed from a reddish "Hornton" type of limestone, unusual in North Leigh. The remains of railings around the base. There are two associated ledger stones, one to the north and one to the south of the tomb. There are two inscriptions on the south and north sides, and one on each of the east and west sides. South elevation, left side inscription:

who departed this life
July the 6^th 1819,
aged 88 years.

South elevation, right side inscription:

Josiah JONES
who departed this life

aged 70 years

West elevation inscription:
