Inscription H74 Index Plan < Prev. Next >

Headstone, oval top, Hornton stone. Inscription on the east side. Badly spalled and flaking at centre right. Quite a lot of black paint remaining in the lettering. Decorated with pouting cherub at top centre, on wings, surrounded by foliage. The inscription is within a raised shield shaped area. There are possibly some faint lines of verse at the bottom of the stone, which have been entirely lost.
